It’s true, Valentines Day is an overrated Hallmark holiday. But, not when there’s actually something good to do. The sweetest block on Colfax – the 3100 block to be exact – is the home of The Shoppe Cupcakes Cereal Design is hosting a Valentines Day soiree at their delicious cafe (if you’ve never been, let this be your reason to go). Plus, the other tres chic, super cool shops Fabric Lab and Plastic Chapel have something cooking up too. And I hear the Roller Dolls will be throwing elbows. Nothing says, “Be Mine,” like a cupcake and some down and dirty roller derby.
